Dr. Debbie Conner is a nationally recognized nursing leader with over two decades of experience spanning higher education, scholarship, clinical practice, accreditation, and academic leadership. She joins Expert Recruiting Solutions with a focused commitment to helping healthcare and academic professionals strategically position themselves for advancement in a competitive and evolving workforce.   Dr. Conner has held senior leadership roles including Associate Dean, Chair and Chief Nurse Administrator and Director of Campus Health and Wellness. She also has tenure-track and tenured faculty experience across pre-licensure and graduate nursing programs (RN-BSN, MSN, and DNP). Her expertise includes CCNE accreditation, AACN Essentials alignment, curriculum design, faculty development, and academic quality improvement. She has extensive experience recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating faculty, consistently emphasizing performance outcomes, retention, and program excellence across both on-campus and online environments. Dr. Conner is recognized for building high-performing academic teams and fostering cultures of accountability, inquiry, and continuous improvement. Her work includes leading large-scale program initiatives, guiding DNP and quality improvement projects, and supporting faculty and students in achieving measurable outcomes aligned with national standards. She holds a PhD in Nursing focusing on the professorial role, an MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and is a Fellow in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a published scholar and grant writer as well as certified in adult and family practice. Dr. Conner is also a functional health consultant and holds several certifications in that practice area.
