Beth E. Wood, M.Ed, Founder/CEO

After 20 years of working in higher education as a faculty member, Academic Dean, and interim Campus President, Beth E. Wood, M.Ed., founded and started her own boutique firm, Expert Recruiting Solutions, LLC, based in Columbus, Ohio. Beth has worked in nursing colleges with healthcare professionals all these years, overseeing healthcare programs and recruiting and hiring nurses and other healthcare professionals to oversee various programs in healthcare and other disciplines.

Prior to her many years in higher education, Beth was a health educator in middle schools for hospitals and owned a successful Medical Transcription business. In addition, she worked in the Department of Radiology at a local hospital as a medical transcriptionist for several radiologists. Beth is a masters-prepared professional, having earned her Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration and her Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a concentration in Nursing and Health Education.

She has honed her medical knowledge, business skills, relationship-building skills, and recruiting skills by sourcing, interviewing, and hiring high-quality teams in the colleges where she worked all these years. Dr. Susan Wechter, Executive Recruiter - Senior Consultant, Academic & Healthcare Leadership Recruitment

Dr. Susan Wechter is a nationally recognized nursing leader with over three decades of
experience spanning higher education, clinical practice, research, and executive
leadership in healthcare and academic settings. She joins Expert Recruiting Solutions
with a mission to help healthcare and academic professionals position themselves for
success and become the best version of themselves in today’s competitive landscape.

Dr. Wechter has served in key academic leadership roles, including Associate Dean of
Graduate Nursing, Dean of Nursing, and Associate Professor across BSN, RN-BSN,
MSN (FNP, AGACNP, PMHNP, PNP), and DNP programs—both on-campus and
online. Her expertise includes program accreditation with the CCNE, ACEN, and state
nursing boards. Additionally, she has seasoned experience in online course design
aligned with Quality Matters standards and the recruitment, hiring, and mentorship of
hundreds of faculty and staff team members.

With a deep commitment to building cultures of excellence, Dr. Wechter has

professional growth. Her 20 years as a practicing Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, along
with her foundational experience as a NICU nurse and nurse educator, bring a holistic
perspective to her work in recruitment and talent development.

Dr. Wechter holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of New Mexico, a Master of
Science in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) from Kent State University, and a Bachelor of
Science in Nursing from Ursuline College. As a published scholar and Certified Nurse
Educator, she brings unparalleled insight and leadership to her role, helping individuals

Mary "Micki" Englert, DNP, RN

Mary (Micki) Englert, DNP, FNP-BC, CNE is a family nurse practitioner and nurse educator. She brings to the team over 15 years of experience in nursing, including clinical roles, faculty appointments, and higher education leadership. Micki has served as Program Chair, Program Director, Associate Dean, and Dean of Nursing at various institutions.
